PROLOGUE

Yoshihiro Goda, the founder of the German Ginza Matsunaga branch,
was 19 years old when he first left his rural hometown and set out for the big city: Tokyo!

He was stunned by the luxurious high-class shopping avenues in Ginza, the flashing neon
lights and-youthfulness of Shibuya and the rivers of men, perfectly dressed in elegant suits,
that were being unleashed upon the streets of Shinjuku every night by its never resting
business world. Welcome to Tokyo!

Yoshihiro Goda

This was where he should receive his training. But instead of settling down in this fashion utopia, the thirst for adventure drove him even further away from his hometown in the deep south of Japan. He was determined to bring the feeling he experienced when he wandered through the streets of Tokyo for the first time to overseas. This determination is what Ginza Matsunaga Germany ist built upon. Meanwhile our salon was handed on to the second generation. The daughter of our founder, Saara Goda, has achieved the highest German degree in hair styling education (the "Meister") and is now leading our team in Frankfurt. But rest assured, the gap between generations didn't open a gap in our passion. We still adhere to the Japanese saying "the customer isn't king, but god".

Saara Goda

More often than not our Japanese customers confuse her to be German. Or Spanish. Everthing but Japanese. Still, her passport and parents prove she's no fake, but as Japanese as it gets.

Miki Goda

20 years of experience in Shiatsu, relaxation massages and body care don't need any further explanation. With her light-hearded character she might also help you with your emotional strains.

Yuki Hirano

I'm very good at styling. I have experience as a hairdresser in England, Canada and Ireland as well. I like traveling. Let's talk a lot !

Every brand needs a mascot. Our Hamburg branch has found its in Tim, the dog. And Tim belongs to Yuko. He will watch for intruders, so she can concentrate on you with all her skill and experience.

It was German beer hat sold Mizuho on the idea to leave his home town Tokyo and support our team in Frankfurt. Notwithstanding his preferences regarding beverages, his excellently educated skills enable him to create every style from retro to punk.
